Extending Your Applications with MEF If you've ever attempted to write your own custom plug in model in .net, you probably found yourself working with Reflection more than you would have preferred. Thankfully, the Managed Extensibility Framework (MEF) has been created in order to provide an alternative to the traditional reflection model. In this session, James tasks about what MEF is and why it's important. He'll show you how to download and reference the assemblies into your .net 3.5 applications as well as how it compares to the traditional Reflection model. Throughout the demonstrations James will provide you a number of examples on how MEF can be used in your applications to provide a robust plug in model.
