There are two powerful means of processing text in ActionScript: using methods in the String class and by exploiting regular expressions. We'll go over examples using both of these approaches to add another dimension of functionality to your Flash movies.

"Web Services and Flash Remoting (using ColdFusion CFC methods)"

This session will go over several topics about building a distributed and robust Flash application using Remote Procedure Calls (RPCs). We will build a Flash application that interacts with a ColdFusion CFC on a remote server to send and receive data from a database.
