<p>Description:</p>
<p>In this session Matthew Patience and Greg Carron of Mobicartel will discuss how to use a Canvas in Android and how to make both an animated and interactive live wallpaper. Learn techniques such as sprite animation, drawing, and integrating user interaction. Greg Carron will cover how to create graphics for live wallpapers including alpha channels, DPI, resolution, and 24bit PNG.</p>
<p>In addition to live wallpapers we will also be showing you how to properly brainstorm application ideas and how to organize them.</p>
<p>Required Knowledge:</p>
<p>-Java Syntax (Primitive and wrapped data types, statements, loops, methods, arrays)<br /> -Setting up an Android project<br /> -The Android Manifest<br /> -Running apps on an emulator/device</p>
<p>Suggested Knowledge:</p>
<p>-Threads<br /> -Creating Object Classes</p>
<p>(if these 2 concepts are unfamiliar to attendees we will review them. It is important to note though that this session is not for new beginners with minimal experience. )</p>
