Windows Phone 7 Development with Silverlight
This session will introduce the fundamental concepts needed for attendees to start developing their own applications with Silverlight for the new Windows Phone 7 platform. Concepts to be presented include Basic Controls, Navigation, Application Lifetime, working with phone software and hardware services, and using the phone’s Notification Services.

John is a Senior Consultant at Wintellect and has been developing software professionally for over 12 years, having spent most of his career working on high-performance video and statistical analysis tools for premier sports teams, with an emphasis on the NFL, the NBA, and Division 1 NCAA Football and Basketball. John is actively involved in Silverlight and Windows Phone 7 Development and has been presenting topics related to Windows Phone development throughout New England, including User Group and Code Camp events in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, and Vermont, as well as at the Boston Windows Phone 7 Launch.
