Job summary
You will be a key member of a growing team primarily responsible for the development of our control (Windows Application) and search (ASP) software, as well as its management and deployment. This will require a good understanding of the base technology, our proprietary algorithms and their development according to customer and application requirements. The suitable candidate will be able to appreciate all aspects of software development, database architecture and will be able to build strong relationships with our customers and technical partners.
Specifically: • Developing and testing of Windows applications according to best practices • Managing and coordinating the on-going (general and customer specific) software development • Developing and testing of our search software, improving storage and query efficiency • Looking after existing customer databases
Skills & Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS * A good degree qualification in computer science. * Programming and architectural capabilities using Visual Studio .NET (esp. Visual Basic) * PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE * Experience with SQL * Secure network communications (including encryption and certificates) * Developing hardware drivers and system integration, experience with machine control systems would be beneficial * Signal and imaging processing algorithm development would be beneficial but not essential
