PHP/HTML Developer

All of our developments are built using HTML5 with CSS for layout, and complying to all W3C guidelines.

Whilst we occasionally use other technologies, such as Perl or ASP.Net, our primary development environment is PHP utilising the Symfony framework running under Apache/Nginx on Linux, so prior knowledge of Symfony would be advantageous.

A good knowledge of SQL databases is required, in particular MySQL or PostgreSQL. Above all a can do attitude is required where the successful candidate will always find a way of solving a given problem, no matter how improbable it would seem to begin with.

Experience developing applications for mobile devices is desirable but not essential.

Whilst qualifications will be taken into account with both roles, we are primarily interested in the demonstrable ability of candidates.
