Job summary
This is a 3-5 month contract in Metro Detroit, Michigan. Should have experience in .NET, XML, JavaScript and C# for 3-5 Years.
Works in conjunction with Virtual Services and various teams to enhance online and mobile banking solutions with robust and user-friendly new features and functionality. Creation of site layout and user interface from provided design concepts by using standard HTML/CSS practices. Specifications/Requirements gathering as needed Integrate new data sources with various applications, such as online banking, financial systems via API’s and database connections. Analyze, design, develop, test, deploy, and integrate software applications. Provides back-up for other IT operations as needed.
Skills & Requirements
Required: * Must have 3-5 years of experience .NET, XML, JavaScript and C#. Preferred: ASP.NET, MVC, HTML, CSS,.NET, LINQ, jQuery, AJAX, and DB2 experience are nice to have. Required Skills:* Must have a solid understanding of and experience utilizing Object Oriented Design and programming. Must have the ability to perform complex data analysis and have a demonstrated knowledge of programming methodologies and general programming skills. Knowledge of JavaScript application frameworks such as Backbone and Knockout is nice to have. Experience developing iOS, Android, and/or Windows 8 applications is a plus. Must have the ability to understand needs of various teams and translate requests for computer applications into usable data, using the appropriate software application Must have strong critical thinking and problem solving ability. Must be able to innovate and reengineer. Needs advanced knowledge of database architecture with the ability to comprehend and write complex stored procedures and views. Should be able to work on a small team (configure your own machine, setup database, etc.). Strong organization skills required to manage multiple timelines and complete tasks quickly within the constraints of project timelines.
