Job summary

The role holder will plan and execute the successful delivery of projects by using Agile approaches Scrum approaches. The role will involve managing projects that vary in both complexity and size and across a number of disciplines including organizational change, process, infrastructure and/or system development (where required). The role holder will be responsible for all aspects of planning, monitoring and controlling the project to agreed schedules , quality, risks, issues, budgets and change controls.

Role Responsibilities:

• Organized and conduct scrum meetings • Partner with product owner to achieve maximum project return on investment and meet project objectives • Manage sprint planning and execution which includes the management and progress and provide status and visibility. • Identify and manage cross team dependencies • Work in Cross-functional project teas that include Development, Product Management, Marketing, Quality Assurance and Release Management • Facilitate Scrum teams that include team members in engineering, testing and product owner/product management

Experience & Personal Attributes Required:

• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent • Certified SCRUM Master with considerable project management experience and specialised SCRUM Master experience • Extensive experience in a technical software development environment • Extensive experience as a software program/project manager using agile techniques • Personally managed at least 2 or more complex projects with Agile SCRUMs • Thorough understanding of Agile software development methodologies, values and procedures • Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle and ability to understand technical issues at a high level • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work with diverse personality types • Proven ability to work independently with limited supervision and with other department personnel • Must have: Exceptional communication, organisation and time management skills, ‘Self-motivated’ as well as creative and efficient in proposing solutions to complex, time-critical problems, Collaborative in driving decisions and a team player • Ability to coach the team to reach their highest potential • Ability to deal with multiple projects and deadlines • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a high attention to detail
