The latest release, 2009 Volume 1, offers improved stability, increased robustness and better performance, together with new controls requested by customers in order to create consistent user experiences across every platform. Among the ASP.NET controls a WebDataGrid Column Moving feature lets users reorder columns to customise views; the new lightweight WebDropDown can be used as an editor for the WebDataGrid; and new controls including WebDataTree, WebDataMenu and WebProgressBar offer advanced functionality such as drag-and-drop capabilities, drop down menus, CSS support and one-setting global styling.
Enhancements in the Application Styling Framework enable the styling of controls and centralised management of CSS styles easier. For WPF developers there is enhanced functionality in the xamDataGrid and xamDataPresenter Grid View and for those working with Window Forms WinGrid makes interfacing with Microsoft Excel easier, WinPanel has been added to the toolset and several controls including WinCombo, WinListView and WinSchedule now have added depth. For Silverlight several free CTP controls including the xamWebGrid, xamWebTree, xamWebOutlookBar are already available and the first release of the toolset will be available in Q2.
