Dundas Chart improves binding

This article was originally published in VSJ, which is now part of Developer Fusion.
Dundas Chart for SharePoint v1.5 has been released, together with an updated and enhanced version of its Gauge Web part.

In the new versions data binding has become easier, automatic and more streamlined, since they now offer the ability to retrieve data directly from the SharePoint site list collections. In addition, by simplifying the code required to implement callbacks to a simple checkbox, v1.5 lets you quickly enable a real-time behaviour within SharePoint 2007.

Other highlights specific to Dundas Chart include the ability to automatically apply advanced financial and statistical formulas within the SharePoint design user interface, plus the capability to provide data to any other SharePoint Web Part, including Dundas Gauge.
