  Sorry for the late posting once again ...The good news is that we have found a meeting room and have reserved it for the next 6+ months.  Since we have a meeting location we will posting the next 4 months meetups in the next couple weeks ... stay tuned.Tonight's meeting is going to be a social meetup.  Penny will have pizza available for those who can attend.  Please RSVP as soon as possible so that she has enough pizza for everyone.

  Welcome Adobe CS5!With the release of the latest Creative Suite, Adobe has added some very cool new functionality to many of its products. However, with so many different applications/programs in the suite, there is sometimes a little confusion as to which app does what.This month's meeting will give an overview of what program is typically used for what (ie, Photoshop for digital images), as well as some of the cool new features in each of the programs.

  Due to an operator error (mine), last month's presentation will be given this month. Adobe Catalyst is an interesting new application which holds some interesting potential to create a bridge between the design and the development sides. Whether you are the designer, the developer or both, Catalyst can quickly and painlessly (relatively speaking) create components from Photoshop, Illustrator or Fireworks files.

  Gayle Lee, a professional photographer, will be speaking on basic digital SLR or DSLR cameras and using them to take effective pictures. Have you thought about taking the step from a "point and shoot" digital camera to a DSLR? Have you already done so, but don't really know how to use it, so are still using it as a "point and shoot?
