Interested in search engine optimization (SEO), pay-per-click advertising (PPC), or anything related to search engine marketing (SEM)? If so (and if the acronyms don't scare you) then this group is for you!

Meet other local people interested in Search Marketing, Search Engine Optimization and Pay-Per-Click Advertising. Gather and share advice, tips, tricks, techniques and horror stories with other Internet marketers. Discuss the latest advances in search engine technology, hypothesize about the most recent algorithm updates, trash Live Search and Ask (or, bizarrely, defend them) and - of course - start unfounded rumors about what SEO techniques are being penalized by Google this week.

Whether you're a seasoned search marketing professional, or just starting out and want to learn about marketing a web site, the Montreal SEO Meetup Group welcomes you! The group meets monthly someplace with a decent selection of beers on tap (of course you don't have to drink beer to "do" SEO; some SEOs just stick to hard liquor;). There is no charge to join or attend.

It is a conference room with a smartboard and new computers for everyone.Unfornately we are limited to 12 people only for this event. So, sign up soon before all the spaces are gone.
