Django is a high-level Python Web framework that encourages rapid development and clean, pragmatic design.

Recently Django has got a lot of buzz with the announcement that Google AppEngine includes Django support. With a strong and helpful community behind it, Django is one of the top web frameworks.

The purpose of this meetup is to share experiences in developing, deploying and scaling Django applications. All levels of experience with Django are welcome - so whether you're interested in learning to deploy Django for the first time or you've been tracking trunk since 0.90 then come on down!

    The next Django Vancouver Meetup will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 7:00 PM and will be graciously hosted by Mozilla Vancouver.Our Meetups are in roundtable discussion format. Everyone will be provided the opportunity to lead a short (10 minutes or less), casual discussion on something related to Django. It can be about a problem you've encountered, a feature or technique you've recently learned, or you can just show off something you've built.
