This month, we'll have Brian Aker joining us.  He has spent his life working on the details of how to build and scale out systems. He is currently working on a new MicroKernel designed MySQL called Drizzle and is building the plumbing required for a new generation of large scale computer deployment. He also spends time working on Apache Modules, Memcached, and Gearman.

Drizzle Update: Virtualizing the Relational World

Update on the Drizzle7 release. We will go over the latest features, and changes in this popular MySQL fork.  The talk will also cover what will be coming out in Drizzle7.1 with an overview of all of the new virtualization work being done.

as always, you're welcome to bring questions and problems.
