  Is there a way to have html pages created/edited by a php script. I have a website for a baseball team and I want someone who doesnt know html to go to a page,  enter some stats into textboxes, and then click submit and the stats.html page would display these stats. Then if he goes back and enters new stats it would overwrite the old stats.

  yes, it's possible, but you'll have to do some work.
  (i.e., it would take a while just to write the code to do that here,
  plus it depends on what you want it to look like, etc).
