  i got a simple question.
  I have Oracle installed but how should i use it?

  Now that is an entirely open ended question. Its a very powerful (and very expensive) DB. You store data in it. The applications that you write/are requested to write will drive how the DB is used. So the question is:

  The database has filled Tables. And i want to try out some sql.
  In my school we use KSql*Plus but i can't get it run. So i tried to
  use Oracle without this tool.

  if you have installed oracle8 version then
  1-open sql*plus
  2-enter username:scott        password:tiger
  3-enter simple select query to get the data
  like 'select * from emp;'
  4-get e-books from internet like from www.oracle.com
