Mail Problem in Linux

  Hi all,

             I have a problem in sending a  mail using Linux. We use the mail() function while we send a mail using windows. So what is the code for sending the mail using linux.

  I have to change any configuration files when using linux??

  I would start by checking to see which mail program your linux server is using, and then recheck the requirements and runtime configuration as described in the Mail Functions manual page (http://us3.php.net/manual/en/ref.mail.php).  Specifically check the path settings and the config settings.

  In linux,
  you just go to the configuration php.ini
  in that at SMTP=give your mail server address.
