Although I have only started reading the book, it is excellent, clear explanations and tutorials, extensive content, etc Great acquisition, much better than the previous one I read : "Dreamweaver CS4 for Dummies".

I very much prefer to have a book to page through instead of a PDF help file on screen. As soon as I purchased Dreamweaver, I bought this book based on the reviews here. I was not disappointed.

I have used other programs to create web sites, but was brand new to Dreamweaver. With the material in the book, I was able to get a complicated site up and running in a short amount of time. The information is presented in a simple easy to follow format and it is well organized.

I am sure this book will remain a valued reference tool for me.

This is a great book for anybody trying to learn Dreamweaver. It has just the right amount of detail for the advanced user while still meeting the needs of the beginner. Well worth it!

I have found Dreamweaver CS4 The Missing Manual to be the very best self help book I have ever read. The pace is perfect; in fact I could find nothing wrong in the way this book was written and presented. I highly recommend the missing manual series written by David Sawyer McFarland or Mathew Macdonald.
Before reading the CS4 book, I had actually bought the Dreamweaver CS3 book a while back and read everything else but this book. The book did not look very appealing to me. Finally I picked it up and read about 100 pages and was very amazed, I then bought the CS4 book and have been sold on the missing manual series.
This book takes you from knowing nothing to being very adept as a professional in a very short time. I am looking forward to reading three other missing manual books which I have purchased.

I bought this because I have no experience with Adobe products AND I have never made a website. I am 67 pages in, and already made a website. I am sure I will learn a lot of neat tricks as I continue with the remaining 1,000 pages. :)

Anyone who bought dreamweaver, should also buy this FANTASTIC book.
