We're going to try something slightly different this meetup. We'll be having a case study presentation from Wilton Risenhoover, followed by an open Q&A not only from the audience to him, but from him to the audience. We'll be covering cache architecture, processing queues and various data store considerations.

Mr Risenhoover has been designing, architecting, programming, building, testing, and deploying software systems since 1984, when he built his first commercial application for an insurance adjusting company in St. Louis, Missouri. Since then, he has built or worked on a warehouse management system, a custom-CD creating web application, an online music e-commerce system, a royalty-accounting system, an online pharmacy, a call-center customer service application, an entrepreneur-investor matching system, a state tax remittance system, a loan-processing system, a video workflow product, and most recently, an investors tools site.
He has experience on a wide variety of O/S platforms, including Unix/Linux, and Windows, and has experience with C/C++, Java, Perl, PHP, and .NET. He is platform “agnostic". He has a BS in Computer Science from the University of Kansas and an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
He is currently the Founder and CEO of http://robotdough.com, a consumer-focused financial tools site.
