Medical Informatics is an interesting blend of science and business where both have to get along while encouraging clinical research and adhering to day to day administrative realities. Alexander has built a number of systems in use at Columbia University's Department of Neurology. His current focus is on exploring the benefits of non-traditional databases in this environment.

Speaker: Jim Farrell
