Some members have expressed some interest in learning more about jQuery in the Roseville location, so we'll be tackling that a bit with a practical introduction. Reviewing some of the things Michael has already gone over at other meetups and reviewing some practical examples you can use on your sites today!
Additionally, since I've had it planned for a bit but don't have an extensive amount of information on it, we'll be taking a quick look at the Git Version Control System, understanding some of the basic differences from other version control systems and taking a look at Github for coordinating and collaborating with Git socially in the open source world.
