The MySQL Conference in Santa Clara is this month during the week right before LAMPSIG. Your correspondent Solomon Chang is spending his week up there, soaking up what he can about the most recent Developments and Advancements about the world's most popular Open Source database, and doesn't yet know what the conference will yield this year, but it has always been innovative and informative. Questions about any aspects of the conference should be asked on our mailing list and I will address them at the next meeting.
About the Speaker:
Solomon Chang is a MySQL certified DBA and the current acting director of LAMPSIG. He works as a professional Database Administrator in Venice Beach, and is a co-author of the MySQL Cluster Certification Study Guide.
