The Stack is a monthly .NET User Group supported by Mando Group in Liverpool. The user group is totally free and is a place where developers from in and around Liverpool and the North West of the UK can get together, hear some great speakers and chat about the latest developments in the .NET world.

We are now up to our 3rd session and we have two excellent speakers lined up for you;

One-Pot MVC: Deliciously Extensible with Matt Salmon

Take a rich stock of MVC, and stir in some validation rules. I suggest regular model annotations are substituted with FluentValidation libraries, for added flavour. While your controller is simmering prepare unit tests, but be careful your project manager doesn't boil over! Choose your favourite IoC container (NInject works well) and mix in concrete dependencies as required. Finally, add a pinch of MvcContrib and serve on time and in budget.

Matt is the Head of Programming at Mando Group, an award winning digital agency in Liverpool.

Javascript Mobile App with MVVM, JQuery and WCF Services with jon Rimmer

After his popular session on Silverlight at our first session back in April, Jon Rimmer is back with another great topic.  This time Jon will talk about creating mobile applications using JQuery Mobile, the popular MVVM pattern and WCF Services.

Jon is a senior developer at Mando Group, an award winning digital agency in Liverpool.

We have changed the night of the event so that we are not followed by anybody, meaning we don't rush our great speakers and more time for everybody to relax and enjoy a drink afterwards.

As usual we have some great SWAG to giveaway as this session.

We are seeing more and more interest in the user group so register now to avoid disappointment!
