Agenda...
- Welcome note, drinks and pizza!
- jQuery Mobile, PhoneGap and more (50 minutes) - Terry Ryan (http://terrenceryan.com/) from Adobe will present about jQuery Mobile, PhoneGap, CSS Shaders and many more exciting web topics!
Building the same app on different mobile platforms is exceedingly common. Doing it native is a pain. jQuery Mobile and PhoneGap can help relieve some of that pain by allowing you to build cross browser web applications and cross device native applications using PhoneGap. Adobe will also show off some browser contributions that will have you doubting what you are seeing is HTML. - The "Helpathon" - You bring your though (or simple) questions and the experts answer!
- "Hackfest" - Collaborative hacking groups; Creating awesome web apps together. Great opportunity for beginners to learn, experts to teach and ideas to materialize.
- "Reconvene" - Show the group's projects and plan the next meeting.
Drinks and great food! :)
The Show & Tell section is a great kick-start for an evening of learning, it sparks interesting discussions, provide a stage for ideas and skills sharing.
Following, the Hackfest is when groups are formed to collaborate on projects, promoting a hands-on collaborative environment to learn from experts and create cool new web projects.
The Great Tournament - Every 6 months, groups will be able to compete their projects to win great prizes and funding for a more serious product development.
