Monthly discussion group on MySQL, and open source projects in general.

This month, Mark Atwood, an Open Source Advocate from Red Hat, will demonstrate building MySQL-backed web applications on OpenShift.

Platform-as-a-service is a "cloudy" service that automates away the "AMP" of LAMP.  OpenShift is Red Hat's Platform-as-a-Service, supporting Python, Perl, Ruby, PHP, Node.js, JavaEE, and Linux binaries, and MongoDB, Postgres, and of course, MySQL. It is free-as-in-beer and soon to be free-as-in-speech.

As always, you're welcome to bring questions and problems. Blue Gecko will be providing beer and snacks!
