In a partnership agreement between SSWUG.ORG and SolidQ, a fast-paced, in-person seminar on SQL Server Reporting Services 2008 R2 (SSRS) will be offered on Mar. 13-14 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in New York City for students with previous experience and basic Reporting Services design skills.
Paul Turley, course instructor and SQL Server MVP, will teach practical design techniques based on industry best practices and real-world reporting applications. He will explain how to incorporate complex filtering logic with parameters into queries and dataset filters. Paul will also show how to build highly-usable composite report designs using nested data regions and report items, such as charts, gauges, sparklines, data bars and indicators.
