What's behind web pages?
This month we will look at website Source Code. By examining how the big sites with their 6 figure budgets put together their pages, we might find ideas to improve our own page construction.
We'll examine the area first. What information is typical and how is it written:
• Encoding
• Doctype
• CSS links
• Script links
• Meta information
• Internal css style definitions

• comments
• application of styles
• analytics code
• div annotation
• scripts
• organization

As always, feel free to bring ANY web related questions to discuss with the group. Attention New Members: We meet in the basement of the library. If you arrive and the front door is locked, please come down to the basement level door and we'll let you in. Bring your laptop if you have one! NOTE: $5 member fee covers expenses for rental of the library space, Meetup website subscription, and refreshments.
