Our first two Wordpress workshops were a great success, with everyone walking away learning something applicable to their own web site.

These next four workshops, one every six weeks, are going to be topic-based, so you can attend to learn the topics that interest you, one, a few, or all. Here are the outlined agendas for the next four workshops:

April 15th Workshop:

- Dashboard overview: dashboard and administration plug-ins.
- Theme overview: testing new themes, making customizations, child themes.
- Multisite overview: what is it, why use it, how to enable and manage it.

May 27th Workshop:

- Plug-in overview: how to choose the best plug-ins from the thousands available.
- Security overview: best security plug-ins, SSL, database backups, spam prevention.
- eCommerce overview: plug-in options, platforms to choose from.
- Q&A

July 8th Workshop:

- Search Engine Optimization: permalinks, SEO plug-ins.
- Child Themes: how to use one, benefits, create your own.
- Page Templates: how to use, benefits, create your own.
- Q&A

August 19th Workshop:

- Sharing overview: social media integration, best placement, feedburner, RSS best practices. - Facebook integration: FB apps/tabs, how to create, and use Wordpress to host them.
- Ad Management: ad networks, best plug-ins.
- Analytics overview: Google analytics, tracking, best plug-ins.
- Q&A
