Building Windows 8 Apps with C# and XAML with William Wegerson, Microsoft MVP

Microsoft is focusing on HTML 5 and the only clear technological bridge from current applications which has been assured by Microsoft is the use of XAML. William will demonstrate how to build a Windows 8 app with XAML by using the next version of Visual Studio (v11) on a computer running Windows 8. This talk mainly focuses on XAML , from the basics of the markup, the similarities and differences between of XAML on WPF/Silverlight, and databinding basics.
Also shown will be some of the new features of Visual Studio as well as some of the nuances of Windows 8 thrown in for good measure.
