From Margaret Duddy, President - Bay Area Association of Database Developers...
We cordially invite the Developer Community to come together and join us for dinner! Our theme will be "Trends in the Software Development Industry - Technological and Business Perspectives II".
Please share a table and your perspectives about what lies ahead in our industry. We'll host a World Café session moderated by Ainsley Nies. There will be plenty of time to mingle, converse and get to know your fellow developers.
A buffet dinner catered by Miraglia will be served starting at 6:30 pm along with wine from the Friedstein cellars. The meeting begins at 7:00 pm.
This meeting is open to all who wish to attend, and free for BAADD members. Please join BAADD ($35) or you can come as the guest of a member for $20.
If you want to run for the BAADD board of directors, please email BAADD to get your name on the ballot.
You can join or renew your membership at the door, but we encourage you to do so ahead of time to reduce the wait time at check-in. Go to the BAADD site with this link to join BAADD or renew your membership. Also, RSVP here on Meetup so we'll know that you're attending. If you plan to bring a guest, indicate that too.
Your membership in BAADD helps keep this organization healthy and vibrant. BAADD continues to host user group meetings at no cost to attendees. This is possible due to the generous donations from our Sponsors and the work of your volunteer board who coordinate the sponsorship relations that help generate operating cash, recruit presenters, organize meetings rooms and meals and, last but not least, great raffle prizes. In turn we ask for your support by becoming a BAADD member, or renewing your membership in this organization, and joining us on November 7th.
