NoSQL is not a fad, its here to stay. MongoDB has proven to be the leader of the pack in document based NoSQL databases. In this talk, Justin Dearing will give an introduction both to MongoDB itself and the .NET driver. In addition Justin will talk about what situations are appropiate for MongoDB. He will also be giving out fabulous MongoDB swag provided by 10gen, the company that sponsors MongoDB.
Justin has been involved in IT since 2002 when he started at InVision, now MindShift in Happuage, NY. While he is currently exiled in New Jersey, he spent several years working in companies in Suffolk County, and used to run Long Island PHP. Justin has been using Mongo since 2010.
