There is nothing more important for business critical applications than customer satisfaction. Applications with sluggish performance not only undermine productivity but also cause end users frustration. Troubleshooting these types of issues in managed environment has never been easy primarily due to lack of quality tools that can help pin-point source of problem. Microsoft has recently introduced a new tool called PerfView to fill this vacuum. In this session Angelo & Kamran will introduce PerfView, a performance analysis tool that helps debug CPU- and memory-related performance issues. Perfview is the primary performance investigation tool used internally at Microsoft by the .NET runtime team. Angelo and Kamran will demonstrate what makes Perfview so powerful and flexible using examples typical in a constrained production environment.
