Black Marble Offices , Cleckheaton, GB

After last year's amazing success, the Global Windows Azure Bootcamp is back, and Black Marble is once again hosting the Yorkshire Chapter.

Organised by and for the community. Details to be finalised, but like last year, this one day deep dive class will get you up to speed on developing for Windows Azure. The class includes trainers with deep real world experience with Windows Azure, as well as a series of labs so you can practice what you just learned.

Black Marble’s event will be run by Robert Hogg (Microsoft Integration MVP) and Steve Spencer (Windows Azure MVP). Come along and join the global Azure event of the year!

In order to make the most of your time on the day, we ask you to review the prerequisites carefully, to ensure you are prepared. •A computer which can run Visual Studio 2012 or 2013 •Visual Studio 2012 or 2013 •The Windows Azure SDK •The Windows Azure Training Kit

Windows Azure subscription

Next to the prerequisites outlined above, you will require an active Windows Azure subscription! There are several ways to obtain this: •Start a FREE trial - please note that this trial is only valid for one month and you should only register for it when March 29th is less than a month away! • Make use of the MSDN benefit! If you have MSDN, BizSpark or DreamSpark there are a number of options to choose from. Bottom line? As long as you don't over-do it, Windows Azure is FREE! •None of the above works? Go to Windows Azure and create a new subscription with a credit card linked to it.
