Federated Identity and Geneva - a developer's perspective with Keith Brown, security geek (and so much more...)

In this talk, Keith will cover the "Geneva" family of products: Server, Framework, and CardSpace. He will explain the Zen behind claims and show how building claims-based applications can ease the transition to single sign-on and federation. He will show how to convert existing ASP.NET applications into claims-based applications using the "Geneva" Framework. He will demo a number of identity providers, from "Geneva" Server, to the .NET Access Control Service (part of the Azure Services Platform), to a completely custom built identity provider based on the "Geneva" Framework.

You will also learn about the tools available to you from Midnight Coders to assist you with application development, testing, and runtime optimization. Additionally, you will learn about client-side code generators for remoting and data management use-cases, about how to create real-time messaging applications with RIA front-ends, see a demo of remoting invocation debugger, and learn about the on-the-wire traffic visualizer. Finally, you will see a demonstration of user behavior tracking and analytics in a Silverlight application.
