“Resume Writing for High Tech Jobs: differentiating yourself through accomplishments” Most people think they know how to write a resume. But as anyone who has had to wade through a lot of resumes to fill a position will tell you, 95% or more fail to differentiate the author from his/her competitors in those essential first few seconds. In this workshop Randy Guthrie will discuss the theory behind writing a great resume that gets results. He will then go through a sample resume step-by-step and show how you can easily make it to “the short pile”. With Randy Guthrie, PhD, Microsoft Academic Developer Evangelist.
