Hey all, it's been about four months, but finally we'll be doing SF JS #8 at Pivotal Labs Wednesday October 21st from 6:30PM-8:30PM. This should be a really fun event that you will not want to miss. There will be:
• An awesome, spacious venue and hosting from some of the coolest tech folks around (Pivotal Labs)
• A great lineup of JS talks from various people in the web, startup, and open-source communities
• A raffle for free JavaScript books including Douglas Crockford's "The Good Parts" courtesy O'Reilly Media
• Plenty of pizza, soda, and beer for you to consume (thanks again to Pivotal for that)
•
Note the only difference from other meetups of ours is we have the attendance capped at 60, as this is Pivotal's max for hosting events in their building. Although they wanted to, they are not allowed raise this number so please make your RSVP accurate. We really don't want people left out because others no-showed on 'yes' RSVPs.

If the event fills up, you may still be able to show up as actual numbers will fluctuate as the night goes on, but there's no guarantee that it won't be truly filled and the doors closed. If you can't RSVP because it's full, but still very badly want to go, shoot me a message and I will see what I can do.

Also, if you're coming from somewhere farther away, don't worry, because Pivotal is conveniently located on Market between 3rd and 4th so BART gets you within a block or two.

Can't wait to see everyone there.
