This year has started out great for the Balto/DC JavaScript UG, first with Mike Subelsky showing us SproutCore, and now we have Paul Bary setup to show us Node.js in February, along with a product demo of Node.js in use by Adam Solove.
Presentation:
Paul will be presenting on Node.js, a framework based-on V8 for building scalable network servers using Evented IO. This will be an introductory level talk targeting developers with an intermediate level knowledge of JavaScript.
Product Demo:
Adam Solove will then demo an actual NodeJS/scripty2 app named Deco he has been developing.
