Visual Studio 2010 brings languages and language paradigms into the limelight. C# 4.0’s major new feature is support for dynamic language concepts. F# brings functional programming into the mainstream in Visual Studio. IronPython and IronRuby are major offerings Microsoft has for dynamic language enthusiasts. In this presentation, Markus Egger takes a look at language developments in Visual Studio, then discusses dynamic languages in particular, and finally puts a major focus on C# 4.0’s dynamic features.
