Stratajet provides a technology solution to increase the efficiency of private jet booking, offering a revolutionary consumer experience for private jet customers, and allowing charter companies to make efficiency gains with their aircraft fleet.

Stratajet raised seed funding in April 2011, and having successfully completed the prototype stage has secured funding to go to market.

The company is about to experience significant growth as technology, sales and customer support scale to meet the challenges of launching a revolutionary new product.

We are looking to hire front-end developers with a great aesthetic sense and with a range of experience in interface design. Building tools that make use of our RESTful APIs we are looking for individuals who are keen to own customer-facing interfaces and develop elegant and usable products. The interfaces we need are specialist and challenging and there are no obvious design patterns to fall back on, so you should be somebody keen to think through customer needs at every level.

You should love working collaboratively in small agile teams, and solving tough usability challenges. You will be one of the first hires with responsibility for design and UX and so this is a great opportunity to put your stamp on our products' design, UX and UI very early on. As well as your core role, all team members at Stratajet have a great deal of input into the business decisions and prioritising the product feature backlog.

Preferred candidate: * (X)HTML, CSS, JavaScript and/or CoffeeScript across all browsers IE7 and up. HTML5 and CSS3 a significant plus * Experience of UX and UI design, testing and analytics * Design portfolio showing a tendency towards sophisticated and elegant interfaces a plus * Either experience with iOS, Android and desktop applications (Adobe Air, etc.), or a desire to obtain these skills is a plus * Able to show initiative to take on all of the challenges faced in a start-up * Enjoy working in small collaborative teams. * Interest or experience in aviation and the aviation industry a major plus
