Front End developer

DIA is an exciting e-commerce and community portal with websites www.dia-boutique.com and www.dia-style.com

Primarily working on our newly released site, the role will also involve supporting and extending on our existing sites as well as creating email newsletters.

Strong background in HTML, CSS and JQuery development. Good design skills and Photoshop knowledge. Interest/Experience of HTML 5 would be advantageous, as would experience of content management systems (specifically ExpressionEngine). Previous experience with RTL languages (especially Arabic) would be highly desirable, but not essential. Any PHP knowledge would also be beneficial

The successful candidate is likely to be/demonstrate :

 -     Creative flair, producing work of a consistently high standard
 -     Knowledge/experience of Photoshop and Illustrator
 -     Experience in HTML/CSS and programming skills including JavaScript and JQuery
 -     Ability to hand code
 -     Full understanding of web usability & accessibility
 -     Full understanding of SEO principles for UI design & development
 -     Experience of designing and developing websites
 -     Ability to interpret and optimise a written creative brief
 -     Outgoing and confident with the ability to communicate with people at all levels
 -     Good attention to detail
 -     Ability to cope with fast changing situations and tight deadlines
