Silverlight 3 has been released, and it has a ton of great stuff.  It has stuff that Erik breaks down into 4 categories:

  • Graphics stuff - support for the GPU and 3D graphics
  • Out-of-the-Browser applications - support for Silverlight outside of the browser frame
  • Misc programmatic enhancements - element binding, dynamic resources, etc.
  • Tooling support - Blend got a powerful upgrade
