A study by Gartner – “ARAD Methods and Tools Improve Productivity and ROI” – confirms that architected, rapid application development (ARAD) is worth all the fuss.

Compuware’s OptimalJ is a model-driven, pattern-based Java development tool, and the study examined the productivity and ROI benefits of using it and the service-oriented application development methods it supports. The conclusion was that ARAD can yield an ROI of up to 1,500 per cent.
