Evening meetup at Oracle HQ - Brisbane, Australia
happened 9 years ago
Organised by Groovy & Grails Queensland
For this initial meeting, Anthony will provide a short 20 min introduction of different types of frameworks to provide some structure. Then it will be great to get different people's experiences from the floor. Should get some good discussions going. If people could provide some samples, slides etc. for a 10 min slot on their favorite framework that would be good. The focus should be on what makes it better than the others.Arrive at 5pm for a 5:30 start.

Joomla and Server setting optimization - Spring Hill, Australia
happened 10 years ago
Organised by Joomla User Group Brisbane
Some detailed information on what to look for in a joomla host would be great. Ie what are the optimum PHP memory limits, should safe mode really be on or off and what security measures to install if it is off.Reasoning: we are having intermittant 500 internal server errors, and have spent 2 weeks trying to find out the reasons behind this. Are some templates too feature rich and demand too much processor power? Are there any other factors which generate 500 internal server errors?
