Java Newcomer

    Hellooooo there It's been a very long time since I've posted on this site and have decided to come back to the world of programming, however, I'm going to program Java. I have absolutly no idea what this language is, what I use to program it in. Eeek! Basically I'm a newcomer to Java and need to know where to start from, from scratch. Any help on overcoming this would be great.

    yah, get everything off java.sun.com - try out the sun one studio - its a FREE IDE for java! man, i wish they had that for vb.net...
