Java REMOTE FILE ACCESS

java India

    Hi,

Case: My Java app on Websphere on server Srv1. A text file Tex1 lying on a shared folder or network drive on system named Sys1.
Requirement: Process the Tex1 and create as many text files as many records in the Tex1 and store into a app running on Srv2.
    Possible solution:
1 Should I bring Tex1 to Srv1 (of my scope) and create multiple files and then put them to be stored on the other app ?

2 Or can the files be created on network drive itself by the Java app. And from there sent to stored on the other app ?

Tell me which can be done easily, efficiently.
Please note that Java app on Srv1, network drive and the other app are on different IP address and may not be on a LAN.

WebNFS needs a server which I cann't have on the system where network drive lies.

Please let me know the approach/design to do this.
Also let me know the Java classes which I may use in this.

    Thanks in advance.
