ASP.NET to JSP application interoperability

  We are having an ASP.NET Application and we are going to have a new JSP application. We wish that the user once logged into the JSP application access the ASP.NET application without logging in again, and even when he browses the JSP application from the ASP.NET. We plan to set hyperlinks in eah of these applications to access each other.

  How can the user session be maintained across these technologies? Wht could be the best, simple and viable way to do this?
