Adobe Flash Eastside Meetup Group

The vision of the Adobe Flash Eastside Meetup Group is to:

  • Concentrate on the needs of the attendees.
  • Focus on Flash (although, if there is sufficient interest and knowledge, this may expand to FLEX and AIR, etc.) Depending on attendee usage, there may be Design and Programming tracks.
  • Share projects, including showing, discussing how it was created and the problems (and solutions) encountered.
  • Address problems attendees are encountering.
  • Provide presentations on subjects selected by attendees.

I have reserved the community room at Panera Bread in Redmond for the April meeting. Please let me know if the time and place work for you. I would like to find a location that suits as many people as possible and then book it for the same date and time every month. Also please let me know what topics you would like to cover at the meetings. There are all kinds of great speakers we can get, if I have an idea of what you would like to know more about.

  • Flash meetup of the general social variety

    Thu, 1 Oct 2009, 02:00 - 04:00 in Bellevue, United States

I wanted to try a casual meet-n-greet type event where anyone could drop by and just talk some about flash use and goals, do some minor networking or whatever, and see what we might want to do for "real" meetups in the future. There's obviously some source material next door as well if anyone feels like it. If you are new to flash and have some questions, I can try to help out some, but I am not an expert in this stuff yet.
