It turns out this date also is easier for our guest presenter: Joe Wölfel, CTO of Talkhouse has graciously agreed to discuss how he uses Ruby in his Voice Recognition work.Normally we meet on the 3rd Wednesday of the month, but this month only, we are meeting on the 27th. I hope this does not inconvenience anyone too much. We expect a strong turnout so please update your RSVPs.

  There are a couple pre-revenue startups hiring and at least one of them will be in attendance at tomorrow's Ruby meetup in Boca and will have a chance to present their opportunity. There is also a small startup who is looking to change direction and needs a bit of a "barnraising" -- a weekend coding sprint to get them re-started. I believe the owner would compensate a small team to come in and knock out whatever can be done in a couple days. It would be fun and you might learn a lot!

This is a great chance for some of our members to talk about something easier which might be of interest to newcomers.
