Are you a Java programmer? Are you learning? Already experienced? Let's get together and share, learn and teach Java, software engineering and design near Whitby. Together we can look at this powerful platform. We can have group projects and build something fun and useful. We can help each other with our own projects and courses of study. Are you interested in J2SE, J2ME, J2EE, Swing/GUI or Java web applications? Do you use e.g. SEO, Oracle RDBMS, Drupal, HTML, Javascript, XML or other technologies and want to connect and extend them with a great programming language? This is a group is for anyone nearby who wants to meet regularly and improve their Java and programming skills, participate in interesting exercises and be involved in group projects.

  • Bring a laptop, if you can, and come out and code/learn something in Java!

    5-6 Apr 2012 in Pickering, Canada

    Fire up the laptops and jump into Java.All levels of experience are welcome.(Those without laptops are welcome too, but it is hard to jump into Java without one.)A short demonstration of something interesting (description to follow) written in Java will be followed by discussion. Some group members have projects and they are encouraged to give a demonstration or update anytime they like.
