This group is formed to hold high level technical talks on web development and systems architecture. Talks cover everything from programming languages, operating systems, systems infrastructure, open source, clusters, etc. If you would like to share something your a technical expert in please speak up! If you feel like you are missing out on "bay area" type talks then join this grop!

While we may cover most anything related to technology, we primarily focus on internet use, design & development... most often using technologies such as: CSS, Javascript/AJAX, Flash, PHP & MySQL, Opensource, Java programming, Hadoop, Hbase, and Cloud computing.

    Git (/) is a distributed version control system focused on speed, effectivity and real-world usability.  Git was born out of the need for a non-linear distributed workflow for Linux kernel development.  Linus Torvald's design criteria were easy: "Take CVS as an example of what not to do.  If in doubt, do the opposite." We're going to cover the fundamentals of Git all the way through everyday commands with Git.
